With the pandemic and technological advances, society has been changing and adapting to the online mode, which means that new habits have been acquired. The way we live today calls for practicality and innovation.
Digital is very present in everyone's life, becoming part of everyday social and business life. The home office, for example, is already a practice adopted by several companies, which have adopted this modality for good.
To make life easier for Internet users, several innovations have appeared in the field of technology. So, check out what these new features are and stay tuned so you don't miss out on what the technological future has in store for us!

3 technology and innovation trends
Among the technology and innovation trends, we have:
Augmented reality
Virtual reality
Influencers
Now that we've seen what the main trends are, what does each one mean and have to offer? Check it out below:
Augmented reality and virtual reality
Since before the pandemic, these concepts were already present in society, but they were not very widespread for those who were not inserted in the field of technology and innovation.
However, with the pandemic, the need arose to deepen studies on virtual realities as locomotion was reduced, which made the need to escape our reality greater. So what is augmented reality and virtual reality? The concepts may be similar, but they don't mean the same thing.
Augmented reality records digital images and reproduces them in the real world, through lenses or smartphones. Augmented reality takes the material environment as its base/background and combines it with virtual elements to create a mixed reality. Video games, for example, are augmented realities.
Virtual reality, on the other hand, is an immersion experience in a fictional environment, such as a video game, a movie, etc. This technology, known as VR (Virtual Reality), uses devices such as glasses or helmets equipped with screens adapted to simulate a three-dimensional space, making the internet user feel present in that place.
To better exemplify how each reality works, we can define that, in virtual reality, for example, we can explore a world full of fictional or extinct creatures and, on the other hand, in augmented reality we will only see these creatures moving in the environment around us .
These two technologies are being implemented in different ways in our society and have the capacity to significantly change almost every industry.
Influencers
Technological advances have enabled new ways of marketing and reaching the target audience. To sell products and disseminate ideas and habits, digital influencers have gained the attention of organizations.
Nanoinfluencers, a digital influencer category, are people who are relevant in the virtual environment and have a certain audience that follows them on social networks.
But after all, what do these people do that is so relevant on the internet? They create content that aims to help their followers in some way, such as those who review cosmetics or teach a foreign language, for example.
What is the difference between influencer and nanoinfluencer? To be considered nanoinfluencers, content creators must have at least 1,000 followers, as well as a good amount of engagement on their social networks. However, what really counts is the engagement you have, as it is this metric that shows your relevance and ability to reach the public.

These were some of the main innovation and technology trends, but much is yet to come, as technological advances do not stop and new ideas are presented every day.
As we can see, the main innovation and technology trends involve immersion in other realities.
